This print, an artist/proof (one of one), was created by the artist for the 2009 NAIDOC Print Project, a collaborative project between the City of Joondalup, Open Bite Studio Edith Cowan University and the Department of Corrective Services Casuarina Prison Indigenous prisoners.

The artist, a Nyoongar man, created the work as a celebration of the significance of land and culture in both his own life, and that of his people.

One of an edition of eight has been purchased by the Edith University Art Collection.
