I have been pursuing my art education as early as middle and high school in the magnet programs in Miami, Florida. This education provided me with an opportunity to be accepted into the prestigious art and design school of Pratt Institute. It was there that my exposure to the New York City art scene, including galleries, museums, and cultural centers, broadened my creative horizons. I feel fortunate to be exposed to cultural diversity growing up in South Florida and Brooklyn, New York. After graduating from Pratt Institute, I returned to my state of origin, which was Texas. I lived there for 10 years, and connected to my family roots, and when I was ready to fly again, I chose to live and work in Seattle, Washington.
