A component of 'Blobfish,' this stand is made with straight-edges etched with imperial units of measurement. Precariously perched atop is a mouth-blown glass lacrymatory by Alex Rosenberg, designed using French curves. The lacrymatory is filled with tears.
Commissioned by the Guangdong Times Museum for the 2019 exhibition 'Forget Sorrow Grass: An Archaeology of Feminine Time,' curated by Jianru Wu and Sirui Zhang.
