Drifting out on open water,
it feels like something I’ve always been told was real—
a distant promise on the horizon
carried by nothing but wind and imagination.
There’s a sense of release waiting ahead,
like freedom just beyond the next swell.
Fantasy starts to take over quietly,
pulling harder than reason sometimes can.
Out here, lost in that floating daydream,
everything becomes softer, more musical—
as if even ordinary words
turn into something like harmony.
And I keep asking you,
can’t you see it too?
