In August of 2021, while searching for the GR®75, the 50 km Grande Rondonnée route that takes the curious walker around the perimeter of Paris, I discovered Parc André Citroën. My afternoon was spent sketching and slowly wandering through the maze of the park. My life and my art was forever changed by those brief four hours of solitude. Shortly thereafter I began the Parc André Citroën Series of 100 Paintings. The media is either oil and cold wax medium or mixed media that includes oil and cwm, acrylic, watercolor, inks, gouache and collage. Works are on wood panels or paper.
