When growing up I often visited my grandfather's flower farm in Oregon. The fields of color, vibrant and lush, were something to be enamored of. The patterns within nature were something my grandfather pointed out. He urged me to pay attention to details, to look close up, that the details hold so much widsom. It is made out of hand gathered and handmade bamboo strips and handmade glass elements. The elements are sewn together then stitched to a backing of wood painted white. The piece is covered with a plexiglass box. Weights 24 lbs. Signature is on back of piece.
