Ampora Coleoptera is made from waxed linen thread, fused glass, and black bamboo, called Phyllostachys Nigra Bory, or Tiger bamboo, gathered from the Portland region.
It is made almost entirely of knottless netted waxed linen thread and amber glass beads. The idea of mimicry as in Mimos, is at play here; a vessel and a beetle as the same time.
