Valleys of Uncertainty reflects my moments of frustration and anger in life's challenging times. Sometimes what I paint isn't "pretty," but it represents how I am feeling. The energetic mark making and dark color palette matched my mood. Even though this piece may not be "pretty" in the obvious sense, there is a raw beauty to it. Just as we weave our challenging days into our happier ones, the tapestry that emerges is a beautiful image with the depth and contrast of our myriad emotions.
