Vicki’s drawings often incorporate words and symbols to help convey her wild imagination and dark sense of humor. She tells amazing stories based on her spare line drawings. One story-drawing called “Swimming Pool: a Shakespeare Tragedy” starts with a high school swimming competition and ends with two swimmers blasted into deep space, their bodies fused together as “darkness filled their mouths.” In person, Vicki has an infectious laugh and a vibrant personality. She loves pop music and is an enthusiastic singer and dancer.
