Sherry creates drawings and collages. Sometimes she will use stencils and colored pencils to make dense overlapping patterns of great rhythmic complexity. She transforms the rigidity of the stencils into pulsating, energetic art works. At other times she will cover the paper with flowing lines of cryptic initials. These is a form of journaling, of keeping track of her day. Her collages reveal her sensitivity to color, pattern and texture.
