Artist: Liesa Vollmer
Liesa grew up learning the traditions of painting and sewing from her mother and grandmother. She loves to tell stories about her family of artists, their creations, and their collection of handmade heirlooms. Liesa is particularly skilled as a painter, losing herself in the work of the brush with her inventive use of spontaneous pattern. Liesa also creates expressive portraits of family members- including her many cats- as well as beautiful abstract paintings in watercolor.
