Timeless Visions is an intimate collection of acrylic paintings that re imagines vintage portraiture through a modern lens. While perusing though my family album I found the images so striking that I wanted to bring to life the figures from bygone eras. I simplified old, fussy edged, and grey images into colourful graphic shapes with a slightly surrealistic flair. A bright red line surrounds these images to make them POP  creating a stronger presence. Through rich  bold colours, these portraits invite viewers to explore the fusion of history and imagination. These works bridge the gap between nostalgia and modernity, paying homage to the past.
