I am an artist with a deep, personal connection to my work, using art to explore complex themes of memory, reality, and human experience. My approach, blends intuition with experimentation, and highlights my desire to create a visual language that is both visceral and open to interpretation.
The disjointed forms and unconventional use of materials, like my rotary sander, suggest a process that embraces both destruction and reconstruction, perhaps symbolizing how personal experiences and emotions can be broken down and then rebuilt. My process mirrors how memories and identities evolve—shifting, layered, and never entirely fixed.

Statement
I am a contemporary expressionist painter and multidisciplinary artist living in Indianapolis, Indiana.
I consider myself an intuitive and experimental artist and enjoy exploring mixed media on canvas, board, or sculpture to produce unforeseen
sensual and nonsensical creations. My unique characters may have disjointed bodies or convoluted faces, however, they are authentic
and very special to me. I talk about them as if they are living.
The majority of my paintings begin with scrawls reminiscent of Twombly, which quickly evolve into layers of various acrylic color fields and textures.
Generally, I use a rotary sander to destroy the first images before returning with a reconstructive process.
I am influenced by the spiritual knowledge I encounter in my own dreams,
memories, and in real-life occurrences. My paintings examine contrasts between memory and reality.
Mark making, symbols, and figures, enhance the mystery in my work while engaging the audience in an extraordinary visual journey.
I want my paintings to speak to our universal human desire to feel alive.
I am happily dissimilar from the crowd and believe my works create endless dialogues.
