This is the only watercolor included in the Place for George collection. It was created in late 2019/early 2020 while I was starting as a member at The Cedars Union. I would quietly paint this dreamscape on a corner ledge, making petite hatch marks and listening to TV shows before running to my shift at work. The title translates a feeling I had as a guest from the restaurant looked me up and down, then proceeded to kiss my cheek. I looked forward to the day that I would not have to as actively face that clientele, and just be quiet in the studio.
