I am a painter, teacher, and explorer driven by creative curiosity and a deep engagement with materials, pattern, and process. Over the years, I have created work that pushes the possibilities of wax, paint, and surface. My practice moves between experimentation and tradition, shaped by an innate inquisitiveness I can’t seem to turn off. The subject matter of my work stays consistent, but the process I engage in takes turns that lead me to new discoveries. I live and work in Kalamazoo, Michigan, where my studio functions as a site of inquiry, risk-taking, and exploration. You can see my work at Addington Gallery in Chicago.
