This painting was featured a Fine Art Connoisseur magazine article in March of 2024. I found this beauty at my local plant store and couldn't wait to paint it. I combined styles by using a brush to paint the closely observed flowers, a silicon scraper to pain the impression of the leaves and a flat abstract shape for the pot and its surroundings. Unframed oil painting on deep-edged cradled panel, wired and ready to hang.
