Carlo Brunelli
Verona, Veneto
I create paintings and installations that unite man and nature, transforming spaces into authentic connections.
MessageCarlo Brunelli was born in Soave, Verona, in 1975, and grew up in close contact with nature and cultural diversity, which would profoundly shape his artistic sensibility. From an early age he showed a natural inclination toward the visual arts, fascinated by the relationship between man and his surroundings.
After completing his studies in Industrial Design at the Italian School of Design in Padua, he continued his education with a Master's degree in Automotive Design at Coventry University. These paths opened the door to major collaborations in the world of automotive design, working for Centro Stile Bertone. Subsequently, his career led him to Creative Direction in the Healthcare field, a role of great responsibility that enriched his human and professional background, allowing him to acquire a broad and structured vision of business dynamics.
Over the years, Carlo increasingly feels the need to explore an authentic creative language, released from the confines of commercial design. In 2020 he decided to devote himself completely to contemporary art, opening his studio-gallery in the heart of Verona. Here, in addition to creating, he organizes immersive events that invite the public to rediscover the deep connection between man and nature.
In 2023 he launched the wĘŚn (We Art Nature) project, a synthesis of his vision, which creates a dialogue between art, technology and sustainability. The project engages the public in co-creative and multisensory experiences. As part of this initiative, Carlo also participates in industrial meetings on sustainable futures, bringing an artistic contribution to panel discussions and developing wĘŚn to integrate into the business context as well.
Passionate, curious and deeply rooted in the values of sustainability and innovation, Carlo Brunelli continues to evolve, driven by a desire to stimulate a collective reflection on the relationship between humans and the world around them.
Statement
My artistic practice develops at the intersection of painting and installation, exploring the generative energy of nature and its deep connection to human existence.
Inspired by the vision that art and nature are tools for personal and social transformation, my work investigates life as a process in constant motion. Through paintings and installations, I invite audiences to intimate and immersive experiences where natural elements, man-made materials and technologies dialogue to create profound connections.
My painting integrates water, air, heat and color as metaphors for the life principle, while installations, often site-specific, combine elements collected from places of inspiration, stimulating reflections on the interdependence of man and nature.
In sum, my art is an invitation to rediscover the complexity and transience of life, promoting an authentic connection with the natural world. At the same time, I explore how technology can amplify this relationship, imagining a future in which art, nature and innovation coexist harmoniously, stimulating greater awareness, creativity and sustainability.
Biophilic art to transform spaces into living, unique places
My artworks are born from a direct relationship with nature, matter, and time.
They emerge through a process of listening rather than control, where water, gravity, and the environment become co-creators.
Each piece is unique.
Not conceived as decoration, but as a living presence, capable of transforming a space into something personal, meaningful, and deeply connected to life.
Philosophy & Value
Every artwork carries the trace of a specific moment and place.
Nature, color, and time are not symbols, but active elements within the process.
Choosing an artwork is not about filling a space. It is about welcoming a presence that resonates with who you are, and that continues to evolve with you over time.
Each piece is part of an ongoing research into acceptance, transformation, and the human relationship with nature.
