November Wave shows a moving sky filled with soft blues and pale yellows, creating a sense of light and depth. The sky takes up most of the space with textured clouds. Below, a deep blue horizon stretches across the bottom, with hints of purple and small touches of white and yellow that suggest distant lights, reflections and hope. The contrast between the bright sky and dark horizon creates a calm but charged feeling, like a moment before change.
Created using palette knives, cards, sculpting tools, and my fingers. The layers and textures invite us to explore the painting closely. The title is pulled from a book of poetry about mental health and our relationship with nature.
Each painting I create is presented in one of my handmade maple frames, wired and ready for installation. All materials I choose are archival, ensuring long-term preservation and quality.
