The Dust of a Kiss is an abstracted landscape with rich textures and soft colors. Above are the palest blues and subtle whites of a misty sky. Below, a band of deep greens, blues, and a hint of a distant horizon with trees, maybe foliage. The bottom moves into darker blues with thick strokes that resemble water reflecting the scene above.
Each painting I create is presented in one of my handmade maple frames, wired and ready for installation. All materials I choose are archival, ensuring long-term preservation and quality.
Made with oil and cold wax, this piece uses palette knives, cards, and fingers to build layers and texture. The bold, sweeping strokes create a calm yet lively scene where land, water, and sky come together. It invites us into a quiet reflection of our natural world.
