This abstract landscape displays striking contrasts of color and texture that remind us of our shifting moods, sometimes heavy. Dark blues and greens form a dense and textured foreground, while soft yellows and muted greens stretch across open spaces. A bold red line cuts sharply through, creating a vivid focal point between possible earth and sky. The surface is textured through a unique mix of oil and cold wax applied with fingers, palette knives, and credit cards—bringing an expressive, tactile quality that begs for close and personal interactions.
Each painting I create is presented in one of my handmade maple frames, wired and ready for installation. All materials I choose are archival, ensuring long-term preservation and quality.
