Holding Time brings us into a quiet space where light and shadow come together in balance. Soft, muted colors—warm creams and pale yellows—feel like a fading memory. Below, darker tones of deep paynes gray and black form a dense, textured ground, full of weight. Using sculpture tools, I created subtle textures that invite us to explore the layers beneath the surface. The gentle movement above contrasts with the deeper shadows below, capturing a moment suspended between stillness and change. Holding Time is about our friends, the seasons, ourselves, and the quiet transitions that shape us all.
