The sculpture is only reminiscent of aircraft
But that doesn't stop the dreams
“The Pinocchio of Planes” it calls itself
Hoping beyond hope
That it, too, might receive a blessing
That transforms grounded rubble
Into a machine of the air
Yet what if there are no stars
Upon which to place a wish?
The moon will have to do
