MAGICAL ALPENGLOW
Sitting motionless, I draw in the glory of a new morning
The mist etching a silver line across the lake
Its waters reflecting the rosy colors of the pre-dawn sky
The majestic mountain peak, painted in fire
The heavy, wet air, full of scents of fresh earth
The murmurings of a multitude of little night creatures bedding down for the day
This is the moment when I believe
There still might be
A spark of magic left in the world
