I am a Virginia native currently residing in Falls Church. As a mostly self-taught artist, art has always been a big part of my life. My background is in Spanish language, Latin American Studies and Law. I was diagnosed with ADHD during law school, and I believe my need to constantly play with new mediums, styles, and subjects allows me to engage with my neurodivergence in a positive way.
Statement
I gather inspiration from travel photography, and subjects include landscapes, architecture and cultural artifacts. While many of my pieces are vibrant, loose, and leaning towards an impressionistic style, I also enjoy creating photorealistic pieces in black and white to capture delicate details. I work in various mediums such as acrylic, charcoal, ink, photography and mixed media pieces that feature pencils, markers, magazine cutouts and other types of collage.
