There is youth in his eyes and curiosity for the mysteries around him. He runs unfazed by the threats of retribution and enjoys the chaos that follows his play. The piece is painted in both expressive swaths of paint and delicate, tactical brushwork. On one side is a conventional, human ear while the other side features the protruding ear and eye of a goat as noted by its rectangular pupil. The figure has only the suggestion of a nose yet bears a vividly painted smile with shining, black lips.
