Dark Waterfall, 2025
Acrylic on canvas
18 x 24 inches
Dark Waterfall is built through descent. Paint is brushed, poured, and allowed to fall, creating vertical veils that suggest cascading water in low light. Deep blue-black passages anchor the surface while translucent whites and grays dissolve into mist-like fields.
The image emerges through gravity and erosion. Drips remain visible; edges blur and bleed. What feels like a waterfall is formed not by description, but by the physical behavior of paint moving across canvas. Structure and atmosphere merge.
There is a quiet intensity here — a sense of power held in restraint.
For collectors: A moody, immersive work whose layered surface and vertical movement bring depth and contemplative presence to a space.
