My son shot this photo while he was fishing on Lake Talquin. He wasn't the only one fishing on Lake Talquin, thus the name of this painting. Great Blue Herons are patient fishers and wade slowly through the water but strike very quickly at their unsuspecting target. I was impressed with the brilliance of the color of the leaves against the color of the Great Blue Heron.
