This is a painting of my grandmother when she was about 18. Her cousin, W.T. is under the car, looking up at her. I found an old and very small black and white photo, maybe about a 2"x 3" if that. My husband and I searched for common fabric colors of the 1920's to determine what color to use for her dress.
