I used an acrylic glazing technique that lets you see through to the first layers of the painting, which is why it's called Behind the Scenes. It's a reminder of how past and present mix to shape our lives.
The composition is highly textured. It's dominated by deep blacks and rich browns, with glimpses of muted tan, gray, and pink underneath. Pops of yellow and red catch your eye and add bursts of energy.
