It's FREE to PARK in LEXINGTON!
Free on-street parking is available in downtown Lexington. Spaces are not metered but do have a 2 hour time limit Mon-Fri 8am-6pm. Parking time limits are not enforced on Saturday, Sunday or holidays, except in 10 MINUTE ONLY spaces.
Those with handicapped parking permits may park for up to four (4) hours in any on-street parking space, including 10 minute spaces.
There are several parking lots downtown, all are free but most have 3 hour time limits. There is also the parking garage at the court house (corner of Nelson and Randolph streets) that is free and open to the public with a 12 hr time limit.
Please make sure that whenever you park in a lot downtown, you pay attention to the posted signs. Many spaces are reserved for residents of our downtown apartments.
