I’m excited to share my piece, *Lava Bloom*, a 96 by 96-inch abstract painting on Fredrix canvas. This work layers acrylic paint with marble chips to create rich texture and depth. The composition features bold contrasts between warm reds and oranges and cooler blues and greens, with touches of purple and yellow that flow together like ink in water. At its center, a vibrant formation of turquoise and blue rises like a wave or plume, surrounded by radiating reds and soft yellows that gradually fade to white at the edges. To enhance the surface, I applied iridescent pearl acrylic in the upper section, adding a subtle shimmer that plays with light. Inspired by volcanic activity in Hawaii, *Lava Bloom* captures the dynamic energy and natural forces that shape our landscape, inviting viewers to experience the movement and heat through color and texture.
