Statement
As a photographer, my work centers around birds and landscapes, yet I do not see myself as a traditional nature photographer. Instead, I consider myself a painter—using a camera as my tool rather than a brush. My approach is rooted in capturing spontaneous moments within natural settings that, when frozen in time, echo the vividness and abstraction of a painting. I seek out fleeting, existential moments, particularly in the behavior and mannerisms of birds, translating those into artistic representations. Through my lens, I aim to reveal the intersection of the organic and the abstract, inviting viewers to see the familiar world in a new, more textured way.
