The Entanglement series is a collection of small paintings on paper that I did largely in response to being gifted a large pile of nice watercolor paper. They started as little abstract experiments with watercolor and ink on the paper and I quickly got to be very interested in playing with layering line on top of color field, applying the line in big gestural swoops and interlocking loops, hence the series name. "Entanglement" is also a physical phenomenon of "spooky action at a distance" and the nature of this series is such that I feel that they all influence each other though they are physically separate.
It's a fun little color study with some edgy moodiness to it.
