There is a lot of extra in this large, colorful painting. I think what it does well is maintain a sort of symmetry in the overall oval inside a rectangle compositoin, with distinct zones within the painting with a zone for pink circles and a zone for vine patterns and a zone for slug doodles, with all the zones overlapping but expressing their distinctiveness in places. It's more divided than a lot of my paintings, but well balanced.
I'll point out the text up top in big grey-purple upside-down lettering that says "another thing altogether", and the big Farm just below, partially covered by the n-o-t of another with the words "shut the front door" written inside. Down at the bottom a couple slugs discourse over EXTRA extra. I like the grey smears in the lower right agains the pink circles in the upper left, and the warm warm orange-pink-yellow peeking through in the middle.
Lot's of nice hidden surprises here.
