This sculpture is made of silicone rubber with a polychrome pearl mica finish. Translation: Several different colors of pearl mica powder were forcefully blown onto the silicone rubber immediately after it was mixed and applied. The form of the sculpture is floral and organic while the colors are reminiscent of Mardi Gras and combined with the overall shape brings to mind King Cake...or maybe a hair scrunchy
