Intersection
In geometry, an intersection is the point or set where two or more objects meet. In a similar fashion, the Intersection Series represents the point of contact, the shared space where things collide and experiences emerge. All the pieces that compose the artwork are connected, even by a single, fragile thread, and the artwork appears weightless yet substantial. The series evokes a sense of balance, where different elements exist independently while being closely connected. The merging of fashion, textiles and balance is where this series began...the drape of the beads and the silhouette. Suddenly it's all about the demarcation: a simple dressmakers sketch - fluid, thoughtful, delicate yet substantial.
