"Home No. 4" is part of a large collection of work, originally exhibited in a solo show at the Evelyn Peeler Peacock Gallery in Corning, NY. In this show, the concept of home in a modern society was explored through the improvisational reimagination of the iconic Log Cabin quilt block. The presence or absence of the traditional red center, representing the hearth fire or warmth of the family/home, tells the story of each piece in this collection. This series of ten related pieces reflected on the idea that modern families do not have have the same structure to be strong, loving, and supportive.
