Artist: Phillip Hunt (b. 2007)
Phillip Hunt is a twin and 3rd generational, professional artist and dreamer who has been painting and drawing since the age of seven. He creates and sells origami creations. Hunt is a videographer with his own social media channel on YouTube and TikTok (Bluewinder30). Hunt is a prolific cartoonist, creating his own line of comic strips and characters. He writes short stories and novels with his twin, Evan Hunt. His artistic expressions are produced using digital art, acrylic, pen and ink, pencil and mixed -media.
His art work has been featured in various events including the family show “A Family Affair”, Mid-City White Light and Hot Art Cool Nights, and a Family show at the Denham Springs Library. Hunt is a member of the Baton Rouge Youth Coalition, and is also a professional photographer who graduated from The Futures Fund Arts Program.There, he dabbled in coding. Recently he was a entrepreneur at Kids Fest (kids with businesses) establishing his independent company “Blue of Wonders”. He was featured by a local news network to be the spokesman for the event. His passion is to share his gifts and teachings about art to others. The Hunt twins have been tapped by Casey Phillips (formally of the Walls Project), to usher in the New Arts renaissance in Baton Rouge.
