Sherry McVickar, the Barnlady, is passionate about preserving barn heritage through original fine art oil paintings. She was trained by some of the world's finest painters, and has been avidly studying painting and art history for 60 years. Her Barn Portraits are in collections around the globe.
The Barnlady lived in Northern California for 45 years and has returned home to the fold: Pennsylvania's Chester County. This beautiful area is not only full of historic barns but is also known as "Wyeth Country" in honor of some of America's great artists: N.C., Andrew, and Jamie Wyeth, all of whom made their homes and painted their subjects in Chester County, Pennsylvania.
