As a child, my family moved many times to different parts of Lafayette and Vermilion Parish area. For 4 years I lived in Toronto, Canada before returning to Louisiana in 2008.
I began the BFA program as the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2011. I started studying printmaking in 2012 and instantly fell in love with the versatility of the medium(s). I specialized in stone lithography. My love for printmaking and interests in occult and vintage imagery give me a unique perspective on life in South Louisiana.
After graduation, I thought very long and hard about my next steps in life. As a person and as an artist. Who did I want to be? What did I want to share with the world? After trying a number of career paths, I decided to start Wrendez-vous Press. Still in its infancy, my goals are to create works of art that transcend the paper it is printed on. I want to use the print medium(s) to share the stories I find weird, bizarre, from Louisiana history and folklore traditions, while being as eco-conscious as possible.
