Born and raised on a small farm in Opelousas, La. Anne's Mother onwed a ceramic shop and she was at her side painting at a very young age. She attended A local college for graphic art but quickly decided that graphic and commercial art was not where her heart was. After graduating in 1994, Anne started oil and acrylic paintings of local scenery and nature. She has since tried her hand at many different mediums.
She currently works in a home studio and her work can be found on facebook at A.Matt Art and Creations. She currently resides in Opelousas with her husband David, her son Hunter and a chihuahua named Missy.
