A wonderful new collector and friend has commissioned a quartet of beautiful flowers. This is the first. It is a white camellia with subtle pink margins on the outside edge of some of its petals. Sadly, I do not remember the name of the variety, but the bushes are exceedingly prolific and make quite a statement in my garden. Years ago, after my mother passed, we planted a quartet of these camellia bushes in her honor. So, it seemed a fitting start for this quartet series as well.
