Highly Commended Drummoyne Members Exhibition 2016
Morning light streams across the open sided yards of Kinchega woolshed through the posts and yards, the light contrasting with the dark patterns of yards.
Kinchega Woolshed near Menindee NSW was built in the 1880s and has seen 6 million sheep shorn and employed many hundreds of workers. A huge amount of wool was barged down the nearby Darling River. It has been empty since 1967, but is protected by National Parks.
