I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design and I have studied at The Art Students League, SUNY Purchase, Katonah Art School, as well as studying with Daniel Greene and Wende Caporale and Gail Sibley. During COVID I found some great online drawing groups and they have become part of my weekly routine, always a new pose, and new model and it allows me to connect with many artists. I especially love drawing with the New Orleans Drawing Group,(NODG), great models and wonderful poses.
Statement
I’m a representational artist who works mostly in pastels, but I also explore watercolor, oils, and gelli printing. My background in graphic design influences how I approach composition and color. I’m drawn to capturing everyday moments—whether it’s a gesture, a certain light, or a quiet expression. Experimenting with different materials keeps me learning and engaged. I’m happiest when I’m in the studio, making art.
