The event, which attracts thousands of visitors to the streets of the historic Georgetown district each year, celebrates creativity and innovation by showcasing the creations of local and international artists in a festive and immersive atmosphere throughout the night.
This year, the Moroccan Embassy highlighted the diversity of Moroccan culture by partnering with the Diplomatic Mission of the African Union to exhibit works that explore themes dear to artist Aziz Kibari, such as simplicity and innocence, through shapes and colors inspired by authentic Moroccan culture.
It was an opportunity to highlight the unique talents of Moroccan artists and their contribution to the African artistic landscape, while allowing Washington residents to appreciate the fusion of traditional and modern styles that characterizes contemporary Moroccan art.
