Painting the traditional west alive today North of the boarder.
MessageInspired by the passing of ranching traditions, this work shows a young boy carefully building a loop in his rope amidst a herd of calves. I used layered oil paints to focus on the confidence and skill being nurtured in the next generation. The scene underscores the importance of involving children in ranch life, instilling values of responsibility, hard work, and stewardship—ensuring these traditions endure.
