Ava Bock
Considering Convalescence by Ava Bock, Image 1.
Considering Convalescence is an original acrylic painting by Ava Bock, created in conjunction with BLOOM, a permanent public mural commissioned by America Connects Nature. Installed on the exterior wall of 318 Baker Street in Minburn, the mural was unveiled on June 18, 2025. Designated as Tile #1219, this work reflects the fragile, non-linear nature of healing—both personal and collective. Through layered mark-making and organic form, the painting considers recovery as a process shaped by patience, introspection, and quiet resilience. As part of a larger community installation, the piece contributes to a shared visual landscape rooted in renewal and forward movement.
