A recent graduate of the visual arts concentration at De La Salle high school, Audrey is quickly making her mark as an emerging artist. Her talent was first noted when she completed elementary school where she obtained a diploma for artistic excellence. She then volunteered as a teacher’s assistant at the Ottawa School of Art exposing children from 5-7 and 9-12 years of age to art. Following three years of exploring various approaches to visual art and developing her personal style, including boldly creating artworks on large 4 x 6 canvases, she introduced her work to the public. At age 17 she held her first vernissage in Ottawa. Then, in the first six months of 2023, she showed her work at the Art Gallery of Jean-Claude Bergeron in the Market; at the Ottawa Art Gallery; and at ExpoMetro in Barcelona, Spain. In September, she was a finalist in the Women in Art online international exhibition. She has sold art cards through The Village Quire in Westboro, and continues to privately sell prints of her work and cards for special occasions/holidays, and does commissions. She shows her work on Instagram (_perichai_) uploading new pieces weekly.
