Commissioned by Rai Badridas Bahadur Mookim (1833–1913), a jeweler who relocated to Calcutta from Lucknow, this temple dedicated to the 23rd Jina Parshva is renowned for its colored glass decorations. It was completed in 1867. A portrait sculpture of Mookim is seen from behind in the forecourt, under the domed pavilion. This temple is one of the most important Jain sites in the region of Bengal. It features extensive decoration in colorful mosaics and paintings, a stark contrast from many earlier Jain temples.
