“ A photographed moment, captured honestly, and with intentions from the heart can impact the world and create a dialogue that makes people see with new eyes. Where videography is a novel explaining the whole story, a photograph is a poem that does the same... allowing the viewer to experience the story in a single image. To see and feel emotion in ways that may unlock something within themselves. For this very reason, I get excited to pick up my camera and capture moments around me. ”

Jonathan Wheeler is a Tennessee resident from Clarksville, now currently residing in Nashville. His photography is influenced by greats like Keith Carter, Ansel Adams, and Henri Cartier-Bresson. Jonathan’s portfolio spans many different genres and over the years, his travels have taken him to the Himalayan trails of Nepal, highrises of South Korea, and the enchanting desert lands of New Mexico. His exploration of the world has led him to focus his attention on documenting life in travel, street, adventure, and the natural world.
